Day 1

Day 1 – Transfer to Chitwan & Sunset on the Rapti

Scenic private transfer or flight from Kathmandu to Chitwan (Sauraha). Settle into your charming riverside eco-lodge. In the late afternoon, enjoy a peaceful sunset walk along the Rapti River, frequently visited by rhinos coming down to bathe. Traditional dinner at the lodge.
Day 2

Day 2 – Jungle Safari Adventure & River Canoe

Glide down the calm Rapti River in a traditional wooden dugout canoe, viewing endangered fish-eating gharials, mugger crocodiles, and kingfishers. Continue on a guided nature walk into the buffer zone, followed by an afternoon open 4x4 jeep safari deep inside Chitwan National Park tracking rhinos, sloth bears, and leopards.
Day 3

Day 3 – Tharu Village Immersion & Birdwatching

Early morning birdwatching tour with a specialist guide (Chitwan hosts over 500 avian species). After breakfast, explore traditional Tharu villages by foot or ox-cart. In the evening, attend an authentic Tharu stick dance performance celebrating local history and animist traditions.
Day 4

Day 4 – Return to Kathmandu or Pokhara

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast overlooking the river. Private transfer back to Kathmandu or onward to the tranquil lakes of Pokhara.
