Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival and First Steps into the Wild

Arrival in Nepalgunj and transfer by jeep to the Babai River. A 2-hour boat journey brings you to your first campsite: Satkola Crocodile Camp. Lunch in the jungle. In the afternoon, your first walking safari led by expert trackers through tiger territory. Dinner and night by the fire under the stars.

Day 2 – Tracking Tigers, Boating Deeper

After breakfast, continue tiger tracking by boat. Picnic lunch on the riverbank. Afternoon ride deeper into the jungle to reach Tiger Camp, your second base. Evening by the fire in the wild.

Day 3 – Into the Heart of Babai

Morning walk near camp — excellent chance to spot rare birds or a tiger. After breakfast, boat ride further into the wild. Lunch by the river, then reach your third wild base: King Cobra Camp. Walk and wildlife spotting before dinner.

Day 4 – River to Forest

Morning boat trip to a remote Tharu village for a cultural lunch. Afternoon Jeep safari through sal forest. Reach Lalmati Bhale Camp by sunset, already set up for your final night in the jungle. Dinner and rest.

Day 5 – Full-Day Jeep Safari

Early breakfast, then a full-day safari in remote zones of the park. Lunch at a wildlife viewpoint, close to the action. Afternoon, return to civilization with a transfer to a guesthouse in Betahani village.

Day 6 – Rest & River Life

A relaxing day in Betahani. Walk through rice fields, dip in the river, or chill at the homestay.

Day 7 – Tharu Culture Day

Full immersion into Tharu village life. Explore communities living between jungle and farmland. Lunch in a traditional home, sunset in Attisar overlooking the jungle line.

Day 8 – Return to Kathmandu

Transfer to Nepalgunj and flight back to Kathmandu.
