At 42 years old, Kiran has devoted much of his life to exploring the rich biodiversity of Nepal’s jungles and sharing his knowledge with visitors. His passion for the wilderness extends beyond guiding—he also runs a charming guesthouse at the edge of the national park, where guests can immerse themselves in the sounds and sights of the jungle.

Born and raised in a traditional Tharu village in Bardia, Pawan brings a wealth of knowledge and over 20 years of experience exploring Nepal’s dense jungles. As a former president of the Bardia Guides Association, a role he held for six years, Pawan has guided countless travelers through the wilderness and is highly respected for his in-depth understanding of jungle wildlife and his skill in tracking elusive tigers, rhinos, elephants, rare birds, and other remarkable species.
Pawan has had the opportunity to work with more than 10 well-known safari and wildlife companies, refining his expertise and honing his skills in guiding and conservation. His reputation as a dedicated and knowledgeable guide has made him a sought-after expert in the region. Fluent in English, French, and Hindi, Pawan easily connects with guests from around the world, sharing his insights and passion for the natural world in multiple languages.
