Frequently asked questions

How do I book a tour?

Once you have chosen your tour, contact us by filling the contact form next to the tour or by sending us an email with our contact form. We will send you a contract by email. To confirm your booking, you need to pay a deposit. The remaining balance is due on the first day of your trip in Kathmandu.

Can I customize my trip?

Absolutely! Our team can help you create a tailor-made experience based on your budget and preferences. Just let us know what you’re looking for.

Are there any discounts available?

Yes, we offer discounts for group and couple bookings. Contact us for more details on group rates.

Do I need travel insurance?

Yes, you must purchase travel insurance in your home country. However, we also subscribe to a Nepalese insurance policy for you, which covers certain expenses during your trip.

What is included in the tour price?

Our tours generally include accommodation, meals, transportation, guided excursions, and necessary permits. Specific details vary by tour, so please check the tour description or contact us for precise information.

What are the best seasons to visit Nepal?

Most of our tours are available from October to June, when the weather is dry and ideal for both jungle safaris and mountain treks. October to December offers clear skies and fresh air, while spring (March to May) brings warmer temperatures and blooming rhododendrons but also are the best months for the wildlife.

What travel documents do I need to enter Nepal?

You can obtain a visa on arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months and bring a passport-sized photo and USD in cash to pay the visa fee.

What to Pack?

What should I pack for a trek in Nepal?

Layering is key. We recommend comfortable hiking boots, warm clothes for the evenings, a windproof jacket, hat, sun protection, and a refillable water bottle. Don’t forget your camera—the views are unforgettable.

What should I wear during a jungle safari?

Wear neutral-colored clothes (green, beige, brown), long sleeves and pants to protect from insects and sun. Avoid bright colors. Comfortable walking shoes, a hat, and binoculars are also great to bring along.

Is it safe to drink tap water in Nepal?

Tap water is not safe to drink. We provide safe filtered or bottled water during all our tours.

Do I need any vaccinations to travel to Nepal?

There are no mandatory vaccines, but we recommend being up-to-date with tetanus, hepatitis A and B, and typhoid. For jungle areas, consider malaria prevention (though risk is low in most regions).

What tourists
are saying about us

  • Agathe Martin
    French solo traveler

I have did the tour including camping in the jungle. I have to say that it has been one of the best moment of my 1 year trip in Asia. The wildlife in Bardia is just stunning and Pawan my guide for 5 days was the most knowledgable man I have ever meet. He knew everything about his jungle and we saw 2 tigers together !!!! Many thanks to Jungle Nepal agency and especially to Pawan, I hope to see you soon 🙂

The tours in this website are great, I did Lang Tangvalley with my family (2 children of 8 years old and 14 years old). Such a great memory! The team was very professional , and keen to share the knowledge about the culture. They know how to take care of people everywhere in Nepal.
They took us directly from the airport to the end of our trip ! Will surely recommend to my friends.

What I loved most was how personal everything felt. We weren’t just tourists, we were welcomed into homes, shared meals, and stories with locals. The blend of jungle adventure and cultural encounters made this journey truly unique. A must for anyone looking to connect with Nepal in a deeper way.

As a nature photographer, this was a dream. I joined the photo expedition and had opportunities to capture rare wildlife (rhinos, elephant, tigers, monkeys, hornbills ..) and some intimate portraits of local life. The golden light filtering through the sal trees at dawn was magical. Our guide understood our creative needs and gave us the time and space to shoot in the best conditions. I came back with a portfolio I’m proud of.
